Charlotte attends South Oak Ridge Baptist Church with her husband, David, and their three children, Gaines, Ava, and Caressa. She treasures the closeness of her family and shares with her husband a passion for educating youth. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, with a concentration in Physiology. She also maintains North Carolina Educator Licenses in Physical Education and Health Education (K–12) as well as English Language Arts (grades 6–12).
With many years of experience teaching inductive Bible studies, as well as English Language Arts at both the middle and high school levels, Charlotte has developed a strong foundation for creating Christian educational materials. She is currently pursuing a Master of Ministry degree at Carolina University (formerly Piedmont Divinity School). Along with her brother, Todd Gaines, Charlotte co-founded the ministry Craftsman’s Clay. Her current work focuses on developing an online high school Bible curriculum that employs inductive study as its primary instructional method, as well as a high school English Language Arts curriculum that utilizes the Bible as its anchor text. Above all, her priority is to provide Biblically sound content that equips students for both academic excellence and spiritual growth.
