David Small

Faith, family, church, education, and meaningful friendships form the foundation of David Small’s life. He has dedicated nearly three decades to public education, beginning his career as a teacher and coach after earning a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a concentration in Psychology from Appalachian State University. In 2004, he completed a Master of School Administration degree at Appalachian State University. For over 20 years, he has served in educational leadership, dedicated to promoting lifelong learning by equipping educators with the necessary tools, resources, and support to provide students with meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
